The Cactus

• What interested me about this story in the first place was the description "short and direct"
• Plot: What i think happens in the story is that the main character attends the wedding of a woman who he used to have a relationship with. during the wedding he reminisces about the wrong that he has done and why this happened. He remembers that he made her believe that he knew the Spanish language but apparently that was a lie. 
• Theme: in my opinion, the story is about how creating false facts to make oneself seem interesting can intervene with the reality.
• After i finished reading, the story made me think about how during some events, it makes us think back in time about our actions. Also i realized that the story had many words i did not comprehend well.
• I would not recommend this story because it was not as captivating as other stories i have read.
